If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by phone at (715)253-2239 or email ([email protected]). For new practice members, we suggest contact by phone as we do collect more information on the initial call. We do our best to accommodate various schedules, which is why our hours vary from day-to-day. Let our assistants know if you are seeing us for wellness, or have a specific complaint. When you accomplish your active care plan & reach your goals, we offer VIP scheduling for our wellness appointments.
Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by one of our amazing front desk staff <https://www.longchirocenter.com/about-us>, and we’ll collect paperwork if it’s already done or get you started on the paperwork we need. One of our staff will then take you to the Exam Room where the doctor will first meet with you to begin the consultation and exam, which incorporates many aspects, but with three main categories. First, our doctors will go over an extensive history with you in regards to your current and past health challenges, if any. Second, we will spend time explaining how chiropractic care and wellness care works, and specifically how things are done in our office. We strongly feel that the more we know about you, and the more you know about us, the more we can help, and that is our primary mission. The third component is likely the most important and is begun once the consultation is done. This component is our comprehensive examination. The exam done at our office is very thorough and expansive, including X-rays and a set of InSight neurological scans. These aspects allow us to figure out exactly what is going on with your health, and what the true cause of your challenges are.
Your Second Visit:
On your 2nd visit, our front desk staff will again greet you and get you checked in for your appointment. You will then be taken to a care room, where one of our doctors will go over all of the results from your examination. We refer to this as your Report of Findings. This is also the time where you have the freedom to ask any and all questions you may have. The doctors will explain the results of the scans that were performed. The scans have 2-3 components depending on what was done, and each will be explained and related to your specific condition or challenge. Again, this is the most important piece as you will be re-scanned on a very specific schedule in order to track and document your functional improvements. It is very important to us that you have a good understanding of what is going on with your spine and central nervous system, so again questions will be taken throughout the entire Report of Findings.
On a typical visit during the course of your care, you will always be greeted warmly by our incredible front desk assistants. They will first have you sign in electronically for your appointment, and then get you set up for your care. Every part of the care in our office contributes to the process designed to restore your health and wellness. While you will likely have more frequent visits in the beginning you will be seeing progress with each step along the way! If you haven’t been seen in our offices in the last 3 months, our doctors will need to update your spinal health history by doing an exam. A lot can change in three months and we feel this is the best way to give you optimal care!
Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us. Maybe we've heard through a friend or have done some research online. It's possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and it's time to do something about it. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the chiropractor and discussing your history, current condition and goals.
As with any doctor's visit, you'll start by finishing some new patient paperwork. Upon meeting with the doctor, you'll discuss your concerns and expectations as well as have the chance to ask any questions you may have. We will perform a physical examination and most likely take a few x-rays to see what your current state is. Once this is complete, we'll take a look at the overall results of our conversation and the exams. Together, we'll come up with a plan of action which will begin when you are completely satisfied and ready to move forward.
